Category: Ghosts of Carson

Okay, maybe not quite what you’re thinking. Not ghosts as in haunted houses, although Carson probably has its share of those. These ghosts are the abandoned buildings that litter the town, forgotten and waiting for a second life. There are a lot of buildings around town that are not being used; closed restaurants, abandoned storefronts, empty houses. We drive by these places every day but we don’t think much about them. They have been there so long they become the background noise of our everyday lives. Sometimes we may look over at them and tut tut about when somebody is ever going to fix that place up. But usually they are as invisible as ghosts. This series will take a close look and reveal these forgotten sites.
