I don’t link to France Photography very often, even though I read every post. Professional portrait photographer Kelli France runs this blog, where she puts up a couple of photos from her photo shoots every few days, and they’re all fantastic.
And now she’s getting into covering the news too, with a look at the new downtown hair salon, Salon Chocolat, and an interview with the owner, Sarah Zeron. Plus, of course, fantastic photos of the salon that I could only dream about taking.
Salon Chocolat is a new hair salon that just opened at 177 W. Proctor street, one block west of Carson Street. It’s across the street from Doppelgangers, at the corner of Curry and Proctor. And I gotta say, the place looks gorgeous inside, but outside is quite possibly one of the ugliest buildings in town. I don’t anticipate them getting a lot of walk-in business, which means they’re going to need all the word of mouth they can get. So spread the word, and maybe business will be brisk enough that they can remodel the exterior.
