Coming this Saturday is the annual Kit Carson Wild West Tour, a guided tour of Carson’s west side that includes stops at the Brewery Arts Center, the Ferris Mansion, the St. Charles Hotel, the Rinckel Mansion and the Brougher-Bath House. There will also be Old West activities like gunfights, music, and costumed characters.
This tour is put on by the same folks who do the Ghost Walk in October. And, looking at the weather forecast, the weather might just be cooler for this “summer” event than it was for last year’s Ghost Walk, when we were all roasting out there in the October heat.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children 6-12, and free for children under 6. Tours start at the St. Charles Hotel, and leave every half hour between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Call 775-687-7410 for info and reservations.
