Yesterday, September 11, was the opening day for the new Fuji Park fishing pond. I was driving by and I saw a large crowd gathered on the banks of the pond, so I figured I could stop by and get some pictures. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The Carson Fly Fishing Club was there handing out doughnuts. And opening day seemed to be a success. I still wish they had built this pond closer to the rest of Fuji Park, but I don’t fish and it didn’t seem to bother anyone else out there.
