Traveling Nevada reminds us about the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, which happens every summer at Sand Harbor. The first performance isn’t until July 11, so it’s a few months out still. But it’s never to late to start getting good tickets, I guess. This year the two offerings are “Measure for Measure” and “Much Ado About Nothing“.
Sierra Nevada Ballet usually puts on performances at Sand Harbor in late August, early September. I don’t see anything yet about their 2009 summer season on the Web site (sierranevadaballet.com), but the shows are fantastic. Can’t beat nature’s backdrop!
