The Carson City Wal*Mart – the new one on College Parkway – has been getting some national attention this week, but it’s not for a good reason. It’s all about this article in Monday’s Nevada Appeal about how the residents who live in the houses near the store keep filing noise complaints about Wal*Mart running trucks and other loud equipment in the middle of the night. A couple of anti-Wal*Mart blogs picked up on the story and ran it on their sites: the Wake Up WalMart blog, and thewritingonthewal.net. Can’t we ever get attention for good things?
