I got an anonymous report that the Sak ‘N Save in east Carson, formerly the Scolari’s on Hwy 50, will be closing on May 30th. I haven’t been out there to check on this and see if there are any signs up. Has anyone been out there and seen this?

I think only the Sak-N-Save pharmacy is closing on May 30
Yes. They’re closing down on May 30th. It was just announced a few days ago.
Well, that’s unfortunate. We shop there all the time…great prices.
This news of Sak N Save closing only confirms what I’ve known for sometime,that Carson City is a Boring with a capital ‘B’ little nothing town where its people get upset over a supermarket.
Sak N Save is not closing. It is just under new management and is re-opening on May 24.
