Rich Moreno’s Backyard Traveler has a great article today about Carson City’s east side. Not as glamorous as the west side, there are still plenty of impressive historic houses over there. It’s just that much of it was torn down decades ago for parking lots and office buildings, leaving very little original. They can still be found, though, and Rich points out some of them, and mentions the Charles W. Friend Trailguide, available at a few gift shops around town, which highlights a lot more.
The annual east side historic walking tour is taking place this Friday, at 9am.
