Tomorrow’s the big day that the new hospital here in Carson City opens. Actually, the word “hospital” seems to have fallen out of favor, as this new facility has taken a clue from the Reno hospitals and named itself the “Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center”. Doesn’t quite glide off the tongue, but I guess they call it that because it’s so much more than just a hospital.
Anyway, it opens Saturday, December 3rd, at 8am. So if you start having pains tomorrow morning and you need to go to the hospital, take a quick look at the clock. You just might need to go to the Regional Medical Center instead.
