A Fresh Path is turning out to be a fairly fascinating blog. Mostly it’s made up of trip reports from the author’s various forays in backcountry wildlife photography in the wilderness areas north of Reno. But every now and then comes a post that could be helpful for hikers everywhere, like how to best build a campfire and how not to get lost in the wilderness. Even though my hiking days are a good ten years in the past, I still enjoy reading this site.
Thanks for the good words!! Now, I am really going to go off the deep end and just camp and explore permanently. I haven’t done much in the last couple of months in preparation for starting this new phase in June. I do plan one major outing at the end of April but about the first of June I’ll be heading out on a permanent camping trip.
That comment above was from me…thought I remembered my account! Oops.
