In past weeks we’ve looked at the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City from a few different angles. This church at the corner of King and Nevada Streets is the oldest church in Carson, and it has spent the last hundred years expanding its footprint to fill the entire block it sits on. Its most recent expansion happened here, at the corner of King and Division. In 2007 they wanted more space for services, so they tore up this parking lot in the back of the church and built a new sanctuary.
The new expansion has been in use for nearly 20 years now.
