Scotty’s Restaurant was a popular coffee shop in Carson City for a long time. It was at 1480 N Carson Street, the corner of Carson and Adams. Scotty’s closed in 1999. After that, this location became kind of a revolving door. Over the next 20 years it was home to tenants such as Smitty J’s, Sierra Glen, Hunan Garden, Genghix Asian Fusion, and Living the Good Life. But it’s been vacant for a few years now. Just in the last couple of months, though, remodeling has been happening on this old building. Building permits show that it is going to be a place called Pho Hong Kong Sushi. So we’ll have to watch for that to open.
My favorite place with lots of memories. My dad would take my brother and I to breakfast before school (late start hehe) and we would always order the biscuits and gravy. Miss this place so much!!
