This aerial photo from the 1950s (a crop from a larger image) shows the Nye Building at the corner of Fall and Third. At the far left you see the Capitol Annex and the Blasdel Building. To the right is the State Armory, and directly north of the Nye Building is the State Printing Office. Those few buildings are just about the only ones in this picture still standing today. Everything west of Stewart was torn down to expand the Capitol Plaza.
