Sunrise Over Carson

For the last several years, the Boy Scouts have staffed an "Aid Station" for the 100 mile Lake Tahoe Ultra Marathon. We awakened this past Sunday morning to a glorious sunrise. (Photo taken from "Snow Valley", that little patch of brown dirt at the top of the mountain between Carson and Lake Tahoe.

The Appeal is running a photo contest. I'm not sure what the prize is, and I'm not sure when it ends, but the gist of it is that if you view this (or any other) photo on their site , you can then click a "recommend" link and help me (or someone else) win :)
