Jimmy G's Restaurant is in a building that has seen a number of restaurants come and go. For years, this was the location of a Heidi's Restaurant, a family restaurant that served breakfast and lunch then closed at 2pm. After Heidi's closed, the building was bought by B'Sghetti's to try to introduce their Italian menu into the Carson Valley. B'Sghetti's only lasted a few months before also closing.

Soon after that it was bought by a local family, and reopened as Jimmy G's. Maybe the third time will indeed be the charm.
