Adele's Restaurant and Lounge is fine dining at its Carson City best. It's located inside an old historic house (one of the last actual historic homes left on Carson Street itself) that's been added onto over the years. Inside it's furnished like a Victorian parlor, and the kitchen serves some of the best (and most pricey) food in town.

Adele's first opened in 1977. Executive Chef and owner Charlie Abowd bought the restaurant from his parents in 1998. Since then the restaurant has won a variety of awards, including an invitation to cook at the James Beard House. Charlie concocts most of the recipes himself, and publishes many of them in the Nevada Appeal.

Adele's is open 11am to 10pm Monday through Saturday, and reservations are recommended.
