Halloween 2005 - Page Two

The thing about Halloween decorations is that it’s awesome to actually be there, in person, and see them all lit up in spooky living color. But they don’t photograph well. Especially with my cheap little digicam. So that’s why I took a pre-Halloween tour of the neighborhood and snapped some daytime photos of the decorations. Let’s dive in.

The front door of the Governor’s Mansion. This year, the big horn sheep sculpture is taking center stage.

The graveyard they set up on the Governor Mansion’s side yard.

The Bliss Mansion. Ahhnold and Beelzebub are down there in the graveyard.

"Pebble Bones Golf Resort", on the Bliss Mansion’s front lawn.

"Mt. Cyanide Hospital".

Here is the life-o-suction station.

The Blood Bank is always popular with thirsty travellers.

Don’t lose your lunch in the cafeteria!

The graveyard.

Right next door is the Governor Jones house. Notice the fellow on the porch and the bats swooping down from the roof.

Governor and Mrs. Jones enjoying the cool breeze on the veranda.
