Around Town
Sure, news is exciting. But a community is not made up strictly of what happens in the news. Carson City, and the surrounding towns, have hundreds and thousands of little things that never change, may be boring and banal and overlooked, but nevertheless make up an important part of the community. So why should these little things be ignored?
That's what the "Around Town" section is for. All these things about town that rarely change, but make up the heart of the community. The things that other websites ignore. Schools, supermarkets, restaurants, museums, utilities, important phone numbers. You might call it a community guide, I call it "Around Town".
