Railroad Museum

We went to the Railroad Museum last weekend for a train ride (as did another blogging family, the Langdons). Engine 25 was out pulling the train, which is rare. #25 is an authentic V&T engine and as such they don’t run it much to save on wear and tear. The museum usually runs #8, which is just as old (older than #25 actually), but not a V&T engine so it’s less historic in the context of the museum. So it’s rare and exciting to see the #25 out, almost as exciting as being behind #22 The Inyo.
