You better keep your eyes peeled for the new Nevada driver’s license, coming soon to a DMV near you. Actually, it won’t be coming to the DMV, these new licenses will be coming directly to your house, sent to you by U.S. Mail after you go in for a renewal. The licenses are incorporating more anti-counterifeit techniques than the current design, like micro-perforations and loops and swirls that are hard to duplicate. The new licenses will start being rolled out this year, but you don’t need to get a new one until your current one expires. So it will be up to four years before all the old ones have been phased out.
Nice to see the incorporation of Nevada’s wildlife while leaving out the bright lights and casino bling.
