A rancher on the edge of Carson City has been losing sheep in the last month to an unknown killer. The sheep were found with small puncture wounds, dragged away from the pen. The rancher suspected some sicko with a rifle, but he put up a video camera to run all night, and he captured images of the culprit. It was a mountain lion that was coming down from the hills, killing the sheep, but not eating or mutilating them.

The Nevada Appeal posted two of the videos on YouTube, of the lion entering the pen and going after the sheep.
