They're really picking up steam on the construction of the new sanctuary for the First Presbyterian Church on Carson's west side. Not only is the imposing cinder block bulk of the building finished, now the roof is also in place. Meaning they just beat the cold weather and snow, so they should be able to do a lot of work on the interior this winter to get it open quickly.
